Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest and broadest engineering discipline that apply the principles of Engineering. All the other engineering departments have roots in the mechanical Engineering whether it is designing, manufacturing or service purpose. The mechanical Engineering has wide scope of applications which allows students to a wide range of career options.

The Mechanical Engineering Department was established in the year 2010. The department has a team of qualified, dedicated and motivated faculty members and well equipped laboratories to conduct diploma course. The department aims at generating employable mechanical engineers to lead a successful career and contribute to the society by excelling in their respective fields of endeavor. The field of Mechanical Engineering encompasses many exciting subjects such as strength of materials, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Design, Thermal Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Fluid Mechanics and Fluid power, Computer Aided Design, Computer Aided Manufacturing, Power plant Engineering & Refrigeration and Air-conditioning. Industrial visits and guest lectures have also been organized that have become the platform to gain the knowledge.

The students are trained to describe the visuals creativity. The students are made efficient in comprehending oral passages, take notes and ensure short questions. The students are enriched with vocabulary of their departmental words. The training in monadic, Dyadic and professional communication are attempted. At the end of the course, the student will be able to communicate his/her ideas fear free and error free in social and professional spheres of life and imbibe life skills.
